Aleron is hiring an IT Applications and Support Intern to join our IT team at our headquarters in Williamsville, New York. Are you a dynamic undergraduate student seeking an incredible paid internship program?

Pay: $18.00/hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and IT staff to gather requirements and document new solutions and revisions to existing solutions.
- Assist in developing system design documentation and user/system interfaces.
- Customize and configure business software components under the guidance of senior IT team members.
- Collaborate with developers and vendors to ensure platform software meets end-user needs.
- Interact with internal customers to develop subject matter expertise in platform components.
- Assist with the growing adoption of Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform.
- Research and assess existing platform functionality and provide briefings for IT leadership and business stakeholders.
- Assist with preparing technical reports, guidelines/procedures, policies, and training materials for end users.
- Support system checks, quality assurance, and identify risks within the scope of work.
- Contribute to regular research studies for new platform technologies and their integration within the organization.
Other Duties:
- Communicate with other members of the IT department regarding various issues and projects.
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to solution design activities and requirement gathering.
- Ability to learn and build components in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365.
- Capable of analyzing processes for possible system improvements and suggesting alternative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing business environment.
Preferred:
- Experience or coursework related to Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT and QA standards such as Scrum and Software Development QA Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Interest in professional services and shared services organizations.
